I-580 E On Top Of Altamont - In or Near Livermore California
Semi Truck jack-knifes and goes over side of mountain |
12-5-12, during height of rush hour, a semi-tractor trailer truck jack-knifed and went over the mountainside. It got stuck in brush and mud about 100 feet below the highway, laying on its side, still jack-knifed. Roads were closed to commuter traffic in both directions until 9:45 am. allowing emergency and wrecking crews to reach the incident. |
