Please note that we gather our accident data from the local newspapers and online news sources. For some states, we gather our accident reports directly from the police. We will try and match the name of your loved one, with names of people involved in accidents throughout the country, everyday, for every report, but our daily list of reports isn't exhaustive. You will not receive an alert if your friend or relative is involved in an accident that the news didn't cover, or in some states, that the police didn't report. Please also note that you may receive alerts regarding people with identical name. When you receive an alert, don't panic: Read the whole article first and make sure it's really about your friend or relative. You will not in most cases receive alerts for reports that were listed prior to your alert subscription.
