A serious accident has snarled traffic in eastern Berks Co. Tuesday morning. Officials say the accident happened around 6:10 a.m. on Route 222 near Route 73 in Maidencreek Twp. Police said a man traveling southbound on Route 222 appeared to be making a left turn into the Dunkin Donuts but didn't complete the turn and instead turned into a tractor trailer.
